WebLinc Halloween Party 2018
The annual WebLinc Halloween party took place this past Friday. Employees got their spook on and came into work decked out in their costumes to celebrate the time-honored WebLinc tradition.
WebLinc employees have been hard at work making sure customer sites have been running smoothly for the holiday season. The Halloween Party gave employees the space to loosen up and have fun. Following a group photo on the steps of National Mechanics, the company-owned eatery, everyone took a break from work, to eat tacos and participate in a costume contest.
"WebLinc culture is truly different than any other company I have worked at. WebLinc offers a sense of freedom and flexibility, that allows you to have a strong work-life balance. Dressing up as a unicorn all day? Count me in!" said Senada Mehmedovic, Sales Development Representative at WebLinc.
Margaritas and tacos in hand, employees got ready for the big costume contest. The categories included best group costume, best new employee costume, and best overall costume. As any rowdy group might vote, winners were picked based off of applause and cheering. This year, the contest got super high-tech and used a noise meter app. Accuracy was the top priority for this contest, since WebLinc employees take it very seriously.
After the contest winners were announced, everyone went back to margarita and taco consuming and enjoyed the rest of the party mingling with coworkers. The annual Halloween party was a great outlet for everyone to let go and get silly. It was a good reminder that Halloween festivities don’t end with adulthood. Making sure employees have enjoyed themselves has been a top priority for WebLinc and an important factor in the culture of the company.
"One thing that WebLinc does really well is it takes the time to emphasize a culture centered on camaraderie combined with not taking itself too seriously. In other words, it's an annual tradition that you look forward to because you know you can be your authentic self and have a really great time in the process," said Alex Deck, Director of Marketing Programs at WebLinc.
