With offices in Philadelphia and New York City, WebLinc is now planning on a European presence based out of London. With this effort, we are looking to hire someone who has experience in managing or launching transactional ecommerce sites in at least three European countries, handling multiple tasks at once and an attitude that will help us create our European brand. This person will be our first employee based in Europe and will assist in hiring the people who will build out our team. This person will have the support of our US team, who will travel to Europe for sales and project meetings on a regular basis.
Position Summary
The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to manage and execute large-scale ecommerce Web site development projects for our clients. The Senior Project Manager takes a project from initial conception and scoping through completion, working with the development departments at WebLinc and making sure that the client’s expectations are being managed and met.
Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership of all direct communication related to the scope of the project and ongoing services provided by WebLinc to our client
- Manages the project team through requirements and technical specifications, schedules, and timelines
- Documents all aspects of project development through the use of our project portal, meeting notes, change requests, and other documentation
- Provides weekly status reports, project tracking updates and overall assessments to the WebLinc team and the client team
- Manages resources for the project, including utilization of team resources, forecasting and budget management
- Keeps the project team informed on specific and overall progress of the project
- This position requires a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including:
- Multiple country ecommerce
- Strong organization, communication, and motivational skills
- A self-starter attitude; strong organization and written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing large enterprise or Internet projects
