Day-to-day
Consists of developing and architecting JavaScript for ecommerce websites in a team environment. Working closely with the front and back-end development teams to integrate server and client-side technologies. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Developers that struggle with "attention to details", need not apply.
Required Skills
- 2+ years experience in web development
- jQuery & jQuery UI
- AJAX, JSON, XML
- HTML & CSS
- Version Control: Git, SVN
- Experience learning backend frameworks, MVC-based systems
- Standards-compliant code / Cross-browser compatible code (back to Internet Explorer 6)
- Firm understanding of Progressive Enhancement / Graceful Degradation

- UI/UX training
- HTML5 & CSS3
- Experience optimizing browser loading and rendering
- Experience with a JavaScript testing framework
- Experience writing jQuery plugins
- Working knowledge of ColdFusion or .NET
- Experience with CoreMetrics or other analytics
- Experience with mobile libraries (iUI) or frameworks
